Woodmancote Neighbourhood Plan

We would like to take an opportunity to update you on the work that is happening to develop the Woodmancote Neighbourhood Development Plan.  In particular the Residents' Survey that is being delivered during June 2020, to all residents on the electoral for Woodmancote.

Alternatively, you can complete the survey on-line: https://wh1.snapsurveys.com/s.asp?k=158800057526

Additional copies and more information can be downloaded and printed from the website:

https://woodmancotendp.co.uk.

Completed surveys (paper & online) will be need to be returned by Sunday 26th July 2020.

The results from this survey will determine the underpinning principles and overall direction of the plan, therefore it is very important that you, your family and your neighbours take this opportunity to make your views known and complete the survey.

Thank you for your time and help which will be a valuable contribution to the future of our Parish.

Regards,

Cllr Caz Cameron (WNDP Communications)

What is a Neighbourhood Development Plan?

A Neighbourhood Development Plan is a way for local people to influence the planning and development of the area in which they live and work and should:

  • Develop a shared vision for Woodmancote
  • Choose where new homes and other development should be built
  • Influence how much housing should be built, and of what type
  • Identify and protect important local green spaces or other treasured assets

Once finalised and approved, the plan will be put to those on the electoral roll in a village referendum and, if carried, will be legally enforceable going forward.   Developers and Tewkesbury Borough Council planners will have to take notice of it - so your participation by completing this survey offers you a real chance to influence the future.
